Dear class of 57,

I can’t belive it has been 45 years. I think you need to go back to school, and rethink this. Ha Ha. Any way I guess that you are right. And old friend told me one time, that life was like a roll of toilet paper. (The closer to the end , the faster it rolls. Well a short story of my life, to let all of you know about my last 45 years. To start with, I am single, broke, and in jail. NO Just Joking. After CHS, Judy Kollmorgen and I was married. We was separated after 27 years. I remained single. I went to work for Beech Aircraft , in Wichita, right after CHS and I retired in Oct 1999. In that time frame , I got marred, had three kids, promoted to superviser, traveled all over Mexico, Canada, and the United States, hunting and fishing. I have been bear hunting with my old muzzle loader rifle, and did take a Canada Record Black Bear, that is now in my home in my game room, have take a state record Kansas Antelope, is in my game room, taken a Canada record Northern Pike. I must be doing something right. Any way, after two years of retirement, I start a Hunting and Fishing Outfitter business called Kansas Whitetail Outfitters. I am a certified hunting and fishing guide in the state of Kansas. I sell, and guide Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunts, Rio Grande Turkey Hunts, Quail Hunts, and sell bass, catfish, and crappie fishing lease’s on a 10,700 cattle ranch. This ranch has some of the best deer hunting in the states. The reason that I am not here with you now, is , I am in Manatobe , Canada , at this very min, moose hunting. I have taken a bush plane back into the bush about 1000 mile north of Winnipeg Canada. You are sweating where you are and I could be freezeing my buns off where I am

Any way I know that you are having the most fun, seeing all the class mates. I will be there on our 50^th, if a bear don’t get me. So far my Outfitter business has made and shown three T V show, and will be making three more this winter. All my show are wild life shows, about hunting and fishing in the state of Kansas. So some time you may be watching your tv and see some fat guy talking about hunting or fishing, will that’s me. Retirement is , or was great. I don’t know why I couldn’t do it when I was younger. The mountains seem to be a lot higher, the deer a lot heavyer, and the trails a lot longer. Any way, sorry that I could not make it to see all of you this time.
